There's a certain kind of light that falls on Nairobi on a Friday morning. It turns the sky the colour of mango juice and makes even the matatu in front of you look like it has its life together. Your body is in town but your spirit has already left. It's at ocha under a mango tree being asked by your mother why you've added weight. It's in Naivasha.
